What is a League, exactly?

A league is a group of players organized into teams that bowl at a certain time each week. To be a little more specific, our teams have 4-6 people each and our leagues have 6 teams in them. We keep track of individual averages (your overall score) and give you a handicap based on that average to even out the teams. This makes it fair for everyone because in order to do well, each bowler has to beat their average - the more they beat their average by, the better their team will do.
